Susan Boyle took Britain’s Got Talent and the world by storm last spring with her fine performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical Les Miserables. Ms. Boyle’s Scottish brogue will be featured on a CD release this Thanksgiving aptly entitled “I Dreamed a Dream” and is already a best seller in pre-orders on Amazon.

Susan Boyle’s look will no doubt be popular this Halloween as the songstress is going to produce on America’s Got Talent in September. Her look is simple and you can get several different styles of Susan Boyle’s clothes depending on what you want to wear. She has the dress she wore during her first stunning performance, the shimmery grey dress she wore at the finale, or a white cotton dress with her famous pearl necklace.

We’ll start out with her dresses. Susan Boyle’s dress is both plain and yet somehow stylish in all three looks. Her first one is a golden one fragment dress with a floral pattern and short sleeves. The second one is a shimmery sad grey that goes to the floor and has long sleeves. Her last look is her everyday at home look with a white cotton knit dress much the same as her golden dress.

You can probably find the dress you’re looking for at impartial about any retail store. You might have a picture handy as there are no official costumes you can buy to mimic Susan Boyle and you’ll have to near up with the costume on your own.

Her hair is going to be a prominent part of the costume. What you’ll want is a wig with short, dark, curly hair with a touch of grey in it. If your hair is short enough you can style it appropriately with a curling iron and add color as needed.

Susan Boyle’s jewelry completes her costume. She wears gold rings on her fingers and a gold chain necklace. When she wears a white dress she has matching faux pearls. You can procure any of these items at your local retailer or department store.

Some other details you might want to consider are wearing light black panty hose and shoes with thick heels. Her dress and hair with jewelry will be the best fragment of the costume and should be most recognizable. An accessory you might consider is a microphone and trying to imitate her Scottish accent.

With her popular album coming out this fall, Susan Boyle’s scrutinize will endear into next year as well if you want to dress as the singer more than once.
