If the 1970s could be classified by a TV genre then surely it must have been game shows.The game show with it’s suave, handsome host filled many hours for women all over America. You could flip on the tube and do your housework or your nails, while some lucky contestant won a matching Maytag washer and dryer or two rooms of wall-to-wall carpet. I hope you’ve enjoyed this trip down memory lane, or old-timer land if you’re just a young thing. These shows were some of my favorite on televison as a kid.
